Erebuni Museum of History of Foundation of Yerevan was established in 1968. The opening of the museum was timed to coincide with the 2750th anniversary of Yerevan. Yerevan starts here, the history and the culture of the city were established in 782 BC. Visiting the historical and archaeological museum «Erebuni», you can discover the history of Yerevan․ The city is 29 years older than Rome. The finds discovered from the three famous archaeological sites of Arin Berd, Karmir Blur and Shengavit, situated in the administrative boundaries of Yerevan, were the scientific reason for the foundation of the museum.
